The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce’s Downtown Terre Haute initiative has been designated as an affiliate of Indiana’s Main Street Program by the Office of Community and Rural Affairs. Since 1985, the Indiana Main Street Program (IMS) has been helping communities revitalize the economy, appearance, and image of their downtown commercial districts using the National Main Street Center's (NMSC) successful Main Street Approach as a Coordinating Program.
