About the BBA

The Black Business Alliance is dedicated to empowering, guiding, promoting, enhancing, connecting and growing Black business leaders and entrepreneurs throughout the West Central region.

Funding for this position is due to a partnership with the West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC), hosted at Indiana State University’s Scott College of Business. The ISBDC was a recipient of the Small Business Administration’s Community Navigator Pilot Program to support the creation of the Intentional Outreach Network (ION) which strengthens outreach services to underserved businesses in a seven-county service area. As one of the many pieces of this grant, the Black Business Alliance Coordinator position was created to serve small Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs throughout a seven-county region in West Central Indiana.
